TESTIMONIALS - MICHELIN

MICHELIN

8th April 2012
Been on Michelin PSS for 5k km since replacing the Pirelli PZero. So far the difference in comfort has been amazing. Driving on North-South highway is so much quieter.

In city driving, the small bumps in the road can't be felt anymore. Have done a few hard corners and emergency braking from 200km/h to 80km/h and the tires perform similar to the Pirelli PZero.

Michelin PSS has absolutely incredible sticky grip in the dry and very impressive in the wet too!

Michelin PSS are much softer than the Bridgestone RE-01R. What I get in return is high speed stability, street compliant, very good wet performance and comparable dry performance.

Would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a high performance and daily street compliant tire. Of course, your prompt and excellent service is much appreciated!

Firstly, I naturally thought that the progression was from Michelin PS2 to Michelin PS3. Performance of the PS3 was very horrible after being on the PS2 due to the softer sidewalls. Initially thought it was manufactured for more comfort than sporty driving. Taking corners with the PS3 didn't give me enough confidence with the sidewalls as compared to the PS2 which I used previously.

Whereas for the Michelin PSS, right from the start, I feel that braking has improved and the feeling of turning in came back.

The Michelin PSS is soft and a lot more comfortable than the Hankook RS3 on my previous ride. After driving boxy square profiles and rounded profiles, I tend to like the feel of the rounded profile. Got up close to some cars in the turns but the Michelin PSS never surprised me.
You get what you pay for. The tires don't come cheap and I'M VERY SATISFIED with their performance!

Michelin PSS is definitely a good choice for folks looking for a balanced tire for performance and safety. Even though the sidewalls from the PSS are significantly softer than Bridgestone RE050A but definitely feels good on wet conditions with no signs of aqua-planning.

Am pretty impressed by the compound of the Michelin PSS, it does have quite a lot of dry grip for a street tire. Wet holding is pretty good as well. Tires able to hold thru TURN 5 at Sepang International Circuit at approx. 140km/h on the BMW E46 M3 which is incredible as my previous Honda S2000 can only hold approx. 150km/h on semi-slicks and it's about 400kg lighter than the M3.

Nigel, the set of Michelin PSS is very good. The side wall is slightly firmer than the PS2 and hence less roll when cornering. Thanks and send my regards to your dad.
